Empowering the modern restaurant industry

FIXE is not just a bookkeeping firm; it’s a specialized growth partner for the restaurant industry founded by restaurateur-turned-CEO Ryan Handel. By combining financial services, the right technology, and a proprietary dashboard, FIXE’s mission is to enable restaurants to scale from single units to regional powerhouses of 60+ locations. However, this mission requires robust financial management tools capable of handling mid-market complexity.

With Intuit Enterprise Suite, FIXE is able to deliver what Handel describes as “service with bookkeeping alongside best-in-class software.” By leveraging the advanced multi-entity and consolidated reporting strengths of Intuit Enterprise Suite, FIXE assures clients that they don’t need to “graduate” to expensive, disjointed ERP systems while still supporting the complex needs of growing restaurant groups.

Restaurant growing pains expanding into mid-market

For years, FIXE faced a recurring vulnerability. As restaurant clients expanded to manage dozens of entities, they would inevitably hit the functional limits of QuickBooks Online, prompting high-value clients to evaluate solutions such as R365, Sage Intacct, or NetSuite in search of robust multi-entity management.

Without a dedicated mid-market offering, Handel states this “graduation” represented a significant risk for FIXE: potential client churn and a disruptive “rip and replace” implementation for the restaurant group.

With Intuit Enterprise Suite, we can now confidently sell to 60+ unit restaurant groups, preventing them from leaving for products like Sage or NetSuite.

A strategic up-market shift with Intuit Enterprise Suite

Adopting Intuit Enterprise Suite was a strategic move that fundamentally changed FIXE’s market position. The Suite provided the necessary multi-entity consolidation and intercompany accounting, but without the heavy implementation costs, extended timelines, or steep learning curves associated with traditional ERPs.

The multi-entity workflows and consolidated reporting inherent to Intuit Enterprise Suite allowed FIXE to move up-market, which Handel notes, “Allowed us to service and sell to restaurant groups we simply couldn’t have handled before.” By integrating Intuit Enterprise Suite, FIXE can now offer the sophisticated financial management larger groups required, while keeping them in the familiar, user-friendly Intuit ecosystem, avoiding the painful “rip and replace” of switching to a traditional ERP.

We’re saving at least 10 to 15 hours a month per account manager thanks to multi-entity automation. That efficiency is what allows us to scale.

Reclaiming time and generating revenue at scale

The return on investment for FIXE was immediate, delivering hard revenue gains and critical operational efficiencies that validated the company’s strategic shift with IES.

Supporting FIXE’s roadmap to 10,000 locations

With the “graduation” ceiling shattered by Intuit Enterprise Suite, FIXE has set aggressive targets. With a continued 50% year-over-year growth and Intuit Enterprise Suite helping acquire and retain their largest, fastest growing clients, Handel believes that FIXE could get close to serving 10,000 restaurant locations in a matter of years.

Looking ahead, FIXE plans to deepen its integration with Intuit, particularly by leveraging Intuit’s AI features to automate bank feeds and profitability reviews. For Handel, the partnership is just beginning, and he’s excited to drive even greater efficiencies and growth for his team and his clients.
