Summary
Get more power in four key areas without giving up control, efficiency, or clarity. The Intuit Enterprise Suite summer release includes:
- AI built for the way finance works: Use Intuit Intelligence chat1 (beta) to ask plain-language questions across connected entities. Intuit Intelligence2 can provide supporting context for answers, so you can review before you act.
- Enterprise-grade scale: Multi-currency (beta) automates rate management and gain/loss calculations. Your historical data stays intact when migrating from QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop.
- Industry-specific depth: New project list enhancements and permission controls for construction, multilevel bill of materials for manufacturing, and balance sheet by dimension for nonprofits bring more of your industry's workflow inside the books. (All features in beta.)
- Reporting shaped to your business: Dimensions now apply at the transaction header level and support multi-level pivots, so you can view several cuts of your data all at once.
When growing your business, adding new entities, new currencies, or an acquisition that lands ahead of schedule shouldn’t stop work or cause lengthy audits. The summer release keeps pace on three fronts: a close that runs faster across every entity, AI you can defend when someone asks how a number was reached, and room to grow without a platform change.
AI built for finance, that you can stand behind
Finance leaders at high-growth, multi-entity businesses are two times more likely to use AI in finance workflows than their slower-growth peers.3 Businesses using AI in their finance workflows are also the ones getting the most time back to invest in scaling the business. As AI moves deeper into financial workflows such as forecasting, compliance, cash management, and other business-critical decisions, finance teams need to know they can review, govern, and trust these new capabilities.
Businesses using AI in finance workflows spend just 20% of their week on manual work, and 80% of their time on strategic and advisory work.3
With Intuit Enterprise Suite powered by Intuit Intelligence, you get AI insights that your finance team can trust. Intuit Intelligence is the connected intelligence layer at the ERP’s core built on 40 years of real financial data from millions of businesses, trained on what businesses in your industry actually do. Intuit Intelligence draws on the patterns of millions of businesses to identify risks, uncover opportunities, and recommend personalized actions. All of this is done with the highest standards for security, privacy, accuracy, and compliance. It speaks the language your books already use and surfaces its reasoning so you can review, approve, and stand behind the result.
You decide how much automation runs on its own. Some teams keep AI to explicit, rule-based steps; others integrate it more as their comfort grows. Either way, the review and approval steps stay where you put them, with exceptions flagged, along with anything the AI needs more information on before it can proceed.
Surface deeper insights with Intuit Intelligence chat
Intuit Intelligence chat is a conversational experience that uses your unique business data to deliver personalized insights, surface anomalies, pull reports, make recommendations, and take action. A CFO can ask how projects are tracking against budget and get an answer in seconds across every entity. And, Intuit Intelligence recommends and acts only when you tell it to.
The proactive [AI-powered] insights in Intuit Enterprise Suite ensure that we're not missing anything during our month-end process.
Upgrade to Intuit Enterprise Suite without data disruptions
Intuit Intelligence keeps you organized when you upgrade from QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop, even when moving historical data that lacks a singular structure or architecture. There’s no need to worry about locations and custom fields not lining up with dimensions. Intuit Intelligence makes recommendations for you to approve, so past activity carries the same structure as your business’s activity going forward.
- CoA standardization (beta): Apply a standard chart of accounts to subsets of entities, including industry-specific CoAs, with proposed changes shown for your review before you apply them.
- Dimensions backfill (beta): Intuit Intelligence suggests how to reclassify up to five years of past transactions from locations or custom fields into dimensions, with your review at each step.
Note: Intuit Intelligence chat, CoA standardization, and dimensions backfill are available in beta. Sign up for the Early Access Program to access beta capabilities.

Automation for the intercompany close
The intercompany close is still one of the most manual stretches of the month: balancing due-to and due-from lines by hand, categorizing bills one at a time, and recreating the same allocations every period. With Intuit Enterprise Suite, your past entries inform what comes next for a faster close across every entity.
- Intercompany Journal Entry (ICJE) Smart Complete updates balancing entries, intercompany contacts, and partner company for your review before posting.

- Intercompany transaction enhancements: Save recurring entries and dynamic allocations as templates, define custom drivers for how amounts are allocated across companies, and opt to turn on auto-post intercompany bills against rules you set, with the rest routed for review.

- Cross-company bill payment: Pay a bill in one entity from another entity's account, with the matching intercompany entries posted in both books. The two sides reconcile without a separate pass.
All three of these features were released in beta this past May and are now generally available.
If an auditor asks about an intercompany elimination, the posted entries and the rules that produced them are both right there, defined by your team.
Ryan Handel at FIXE* saves at least 10 to 15 hours a month per account manager with this automation, and Lallier Construction* cut intercompany month-end reconciliation time by 90% during peak season.
Enterprise-grade scale that you’ll never outgrow
When you operate a dynamic business, you can't always see around every corner. Intuit Enterprise Suite is built to handle complexity as it arises, so taking on new entities, currencies, and acquisitions doesn't mean starting over on a new platform.
- Single sign-on through Bring Your Own Identity (BYOI) connects to the identity provider you already run (Entra ID, Google, or Okta). Access is granted and revoked from one place, with central audit visibility.
- Expanded migration capabilities: Migrating from QuickBooks Desktop doesn't slow you down. 95% of businesses migrate in 30 days or less.4 Expanded migration capabilities carry over what you depend on: local tax setup, FIFO inventory costing, units of measure, prepayments, and years of report history. Your data is validated by an AI readiness check before go-live, so your team starts ready.
- Enterprise multi-currency (beta) rebuilds how currency runs across the platform. Control rates in one place with a full audit trail, with the right rate applied to reports automatically, and realized and unrealized gains and losses calculated in line with ASC 830 and IAS 21.
- Entity hierarchy enhancements (beta) and a cross-entity payroll hub (beta): New entities plugs into the structure you've already built, so consolidated views, KPIs, and payroll admin all stay in one place instead of fragmenting company by company.
Because we can switch between companies and run consolidated reports, it allows us to standardize and make things uniform. I've saved 10 to 15 hours a week.
The result: the eight-entity team closes the way the three-entity team used to, and the historical data getting there comes along, rather than being left behind in the old system.
Note: Enterprise multi-currency, entity hierarchy enhancements, and the cross-entity payroll hub are available in beta. Multi-currency covers organizations whose functional currency is US dollars today, with support for international functional currencies expanding this fall.
Industry-specific workflows
Many industries run on workflows that general-purpose accounting wasn't built to handle, and when the system can't support them, your team must create the workarounds. Intuit Enterprise Suite now comes with more industry-specific workflows in construction, manufacturing, and nonprofit, so you can run the way you operate.
Now in construction: Project recognition on receipts (GA) automatically routes receipts and AP emails to the right project. Budget tracking on forms (pilot) shows budget-versus-actuals on the form as costs come in. The projects list now stands up to the filtering, sorting, and bulk work of running dozens of jobs at once, and data-level restrictions for projects (beta) let you limit each project's visibility to the project manager who owns it.
"One of the biggest roadblocks for a CFO in construction is visibility. What Intuit Enterprise Suite brings to the table, especially with its native AI, is the ability to quickly see budgets, actual versus budget, billings, and gross profit on a specific project. Instead of pulling data into Excel and building pivots and formulas, I can ask about a project and get insight into how it is performing." — Scott Franchini, Partner, RedHammer*
Note: Construction edition features, including data-level restrictions for projects, are available in beta. Sign up for the Early Access Program to access beta capabilities.
Now in manufacturing and inventory: Units of measure and multilevel bills of materials (beta) let you buy, stock, and sell an item in different units, and build products from nested assemblies, without a side system. Multiple shipping addresses on invoices let you select from a customer's saved ship-to addresses when invoicing multiple locations, rather than re-entering them each time.
Note: Manufacturing features, including multilevel bills of materials, are available in beta. Sign up for the Early Access Program to access beta capabilities.
Now in nonprofit: Balance sheet by dimension (beta, for single entities) tracks assets and liabilities by grant or fund, close to how your fund accounting already works.
"Intuit Enterprise Suite will help boost productivity for both our firm and our nonprofit clients by eliminating a lot of the manual tasks that are associated with tracking restricted funds and fund balances. In turn, this will allow our nonprofits to focus on their programs and their mission." — Don Needs, CFO, Jitasa Group*
Note: Nonprofit features, including balance sheet by dimension for single entities, are available in beta. Sign up for the Early Access Program to access beta capabilities. Deeper industry-specific capabilities across construction, manufacturing, and nonprofit are on the way.
We're now light years ahead of where we were a year ago. You would have no idea it's the same company. Intuit Enterprise Suite is allowing us to enter projects correctly and know our true costs before the first cable is even pulled.
Dimensional reporting for the most important questions
While many finance teams are exporting to Excel and building pivot tables to customize their reports, Intuit Enterprise Suite customers use dimensions. Brandon Webster, Director of Finance at PULSEROLLER*, says dimensions let ownership "see a better snapshot of how the company in total is doing,” separating profitable business lines from R&D spend without a separate report for each.
Here’s how this release widens that view.
- Dimensions can now be applied at the transaction header rather than line by line, meaning less manual tagging and fewer gaps in the data your reports draw on. They can also be reparented as your reporting structure changes, and used across billable expenses, time, and recurring payments.
- Balance sheet by dimension (beta) extends dimensional reporting past the P&L to assets, liabilities, and equity for single entities as of this release, with a consolidated view expanding this fall.
- More project reports can be run by dimension, with multi-level pivots for holding several cuts in view at once.
With these updates, you can restructure reporting as your business changes, without rebuilding it each time your questions do.
Note: Balance sheet by dimension report will become available in beta in the coming months. Sign up for the Early Access Program to access beta capabilities.
The use of dimensions allows us to really bifurcate our reporting between location and type of activity.
