What’s new in Intuit Enterprise Suite: Fall 2026 release
In a recent Intuit survey, 62% of businesses said they expect to outgrow their current technology within 12 months if they hit their growth targets.² The most expensive ERP decision you’ll make is staying on the wrong one. Intuit Enterprise Suite with Intuit Intelligence* is the AI-native ERP built to grow with you: enterprise-grade power without the cost and complexity of a traditional ERP.
Intuit Enterprise Suite lets you add entities, currencies, and industry workflows when you need them, so you never have to replace your system to keep up. More than 90% of customers are up and running in less than 30 days,¹ with 800+ integrations across 20 industries.
The fall release deepens industry capabilities, improves reporting and multi-currency functionality, and adds revenue management workflows. Following Intuit’s acquisition of Sequence, new capabilities deliver automated contract-to-cash workflows. Leaving a legacy system or QuickBooks Desktop? In this fall release, you get a guided migration, and Desktop customers keep their financial history, so you can confidently grow your business without losing momentum.
Purpose-built for your industry
When your current system can no longer support your industry-specific needs, teams resort to spreadsheets and other workarounds, and someone on your team quietly becomes their keeper. If that sounds familiar, you're not alone. Finance teams rely on an average of six manual trackers, spreadsheets, or workarounds outside their primary finance system just to support monthly reporting.²
With Intuit Enterprise Suite, your ledger is built for how your industry runs. Intuit Enterprise Suite’s inventory foundation is now available to enterprises that manufacture and ship. If you're a construction business, you now have access to new contractor billing and reporting capabilities (in beta).
Desktop’s inventory depth comes to Intuit Enterprise Suite
The inventory depth you relied on in QuickBooks Desktop is now online in Intuit Enterprise Suite. If you make and move product, your P&L is only as accurate as the underlying inventory system. With inventory now available in Intuit Enterprise Suite, your stock, costs, and financials live in one system, so you can see true profitability by product without having to reconcile spreadsheets. Here’s what’s included:
- Serial and lot tracking with expiry lets you trace every item by serial or lot number and flags expiration before it turns into a write-off.
- Multi-location inventory management shows you quantity on hand by site and sub-location, with transfers and reports that respect where your goods actually are.
- Landed cost folds freight, duty, and handling into true item cost, so your margin reflects what each product really costs you to put on the shelf.
- Inventory roles and permissions let you decide who can see and act on inventory.
- Rounding it out: multi-level bills of materials (BoM) and assemblies, units of measure, barcode scanning and label printing, and inventory value adjustments - eliminating the need for a separate inventory spreadsheet tracking your stock.
- Inventory history migration moves your complete inventory history, balances, and settings with no date cutoff.
Having manufacturing and operations in the same system as our financials means I can finally see SKU profitability clearly - not just an overview, but down to the product level.

New capabilities for construction businesses
As a contractor, you don't get paid like other businesses, so managing cash flow and billing complexity is critical to protecting your profit margins. Billing in the format the industry expects makes a measurable difference: Intuit customers using AIA-style invoicing got paid within 30 days at a 32% higher rate than those using standard invoicing.³ These new beta capabilities are built around that reality:
- Schedule of values structures contract value by work item, so you can bill progressively as work is completed.
- Payment applications turn your progress billing into a complete pay package, including G702/G703 detail, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Retainage (A/R and A/P) holds withheld amounts on your balance sheet and releases them through a workflow instead of a sticky note.
- WIP Agent streamlines your monthly work in progress (WIP). It pulls in updated cost forecasts, refreshes key WIP calculations, and drafts over/under-billing journal entries for your team to review and approve, flagging margin risk early enough for you to act while the job is still running.
Construction capabilities are available in beta. Sign up for the Early Access Program to access new beta capabilities as they’re released.
When we first started, a WIP report took almost two days. Now I can pull it, modify it, and get it out within three hours.

Add capabilities as you grow: Dimensions and multi-currency (beta)
Scaling your business often creates complexity before you’re ready for a massive enterprise system. One of the first pressure points is adding a new entity, which can make reporting, consolidation, and day-to-day financial management much harder to manage. In fact, 76% of multi-entity businesses say their existing technology has struggled to keep up as they’ve added new entities.2 Intuit Enterprise Suite is designed to bridge that gap, giving you the capabilities you need now and the flexibility to add more depth as your business grows.
Whether you're consolidating entities, managing new currencies, or tightening permissions, you can expand without disrupting what already works.
We have a client running over 45 entities and north of $65 million in revenue on Intuit Enterprise Suite. They now save 80 hours a month on manual reporting and can focus on reinvesting that time into growing their business.

Keep your reporting consistent across entities with dimensions
Each business entity you add creates another opportunity for reporting discrepancies. When different entities tag transactions their own way, it can lead to inconsistencies at month-end close.
In a recent Intuit survey, 74% of multi-entity businesses needed manual rework in at least one of their last three month-end closes because of intercompany transactions or entity-level differences.5 Dimensions, the tags that organize your reporting by location, department, project, or business line, are key to maintaining consistency across entities.
- Header-level dimensions on sales orders let you set the dimension once and carry onto downstream forms like invoices, instead of re-tagging line by line.
- Retroactive dimension assignment applies default dimensions to your past transactions when your structure changes, so your historical data reflects your current structure.
Multi-currency (beta): Rate permissions, foreign payments, remeasured reports
Your first foreign customer, vendor, or bank account shouldn't complicate your close with extra spreadsheets. Doing business globally means you need an efficient way to handle exchange rates, balance reassessments, and audits.
Multi-currency is currently in beta, with the following enhancements coming soon4:
- Role-based rate permissions let your primary admin decide, role by role, who can view, create, edit, or delete exchange rates. Every edit lands in the audit log.
- Pay down foreign-currency credit cards and transfer funds to foreign bank accounts inside the platform. The exchange rate and any gains or losses are calculated automatically.
- More reports remeasure automatically. Reports such as Profit and Loss by Month and Profit and Loss by Class now calculate unrealized gains and losses for you and carry a "remeasured" tag, so you can see which reports include multi-currency data.
- Track fixed assets in the currency you bought them in. Enter the purchase price and currency to automatically pull in exchange rates. Assets display values in both foreign and home currencies, and you can dispose of assets in any currency.
The result: Audit-ready books in every currency you do business in, with far less manual work. With governed rates, automated gain and loss calculations, you can present dependable numbers to auditors, lenders, and your board.
We migrated three entities from QuickBooks Desktop to Intuit Enterprise Suite in 24 hours. By far the best migration I've ever done.

Desktop depth in Intuit Enterprise Suite: New added workflows and guided migration
This release delivers many of the QuickBooks Desktop workflows most requested by customers and accountants in Intuit Enterprise Suite. If QuickBooks Online didn’t have the critical workflows you needed, Intuit Enterprise Suite now offers that functionality - spanning inventory, payroll, projects, and invoicing - with more coming in upcoming releases.
Invoicing the way your business bills
With this fall release, you can choose from multiple shipping addresses per customer right in the invoice workflow, and regroup billable expenses into a single, clearly labeled line so your customer sees one readable charge instead of a pile of pass-throughs.
You won’t make the move alone
Every Intuit Enterprise Suite migration is paired with a dedicated implementation consultant who understands both accounting and QuickBooks Desktop workflows. They build a migration and training plan specific to your business, work through the move with your team, and stay with you through your onboarding period. In addition, a dedicated customer success manager is with you from day one too, so you have a named person to call at every step.
The everyday work, now in the cloud
Your team's daily routines shouldn't have to change just because the system did. Familiar QuickBooks Desktop project reports, including Open Purchase Orders by Project, are now available in Intuit Enterprise Suite.
Our Controller is saving at least 32 hours of manual work every single month since we moved from QuickBooks Desktop to Intuit Enterprise Suite. Recapturing that time allows our senior leadership to focus on growing the business rather than just managing spreadsheets.
